Shallot agribusiness activities in this area are not only carried out by old farmers but also by young farmers who are mostly members of Karang Taruna or farmer groups. Although it has quite promising human resource and commodity potential, there are still various challenges, namely the low selling value of the harvest at the farmer level. Seeing this condition, efforts are needed to improve the bargaining position of farmers by connecting farmers directly to consumers through digital marketing. The purpose of community service is to introduce digital marketing to Karang Taruna members. The methods used include problem identification, field observation, surveys and interviews, partner needs analysis, counseling and technical guidance, and evaluation and feedback. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participant understanding, changes in attitudes and motivation, the formation of networks through ongoing collaboration and implementation of marketing strategies. Interactive discussion sessions involving young farmers, Karang Taruna and business actors discussed digital marketing strategies, collaboration opportunities and expanding market reach and increasing the value of shallot products in a sustainable manner. Participants were quite enthusiastic about this activity and expected follow-up from the digital marketing training.
2025-06-22T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Suwinda Fibriani, Fitri Krismiratsihhttps://journal.artika.id/abdimas/article/view/139Sosialisasi K3 (Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja) Pada Kelompok Perajin Kapal Nelayan Puger Dalam Rangka Pengurangan Risiko Kecelakaan Kerja 2025-06-15T09:05:32+00:00Hery Indria Dwi Puspitaheryindria.teknik@unej.ac.idGandu Eko Julianto Suyosogandu.eko.js@polije.ac.idRudianto Rudiantorudianto@unej.ac.idLyya Supriono198712242020122009@mail.unej.ac.idAndi Sanataandisanata@unej.ac.idBakhtiyar Hadi Prakosobakhtiyar.hp@polije.ac.idVeronika Vestineveronikavestine@polije.ac.idErvina Rachmawatiervina_rachmawati@polije.ac.id
A lack of exposure to occupational health and safety (OHS) information has resulted in limited awareness of OHS practices among traditional boat craftsmen in Puger District. This issue increases the risk of workplace accidents, such as injuries from carpentry tools, exposure to wood splinters, and non-ergonomic working postures. This community service initiative aims to enhance craftsmen’s knowledge of OHS through socialization activities. The methods employed in this program included field surveys, literature reviews, the development of educational modules, the implementation of awareness sessions, and activity evaluations through pre-tests and post-tests. The awareness raising session began with a pre-test assessing participants’ knowledge of various OHS aspects, followed by the delivery of OHS materials relevant to the work of traditional boat craftsmen in Puger. The session also included demonstrations of proper personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, interactive discussions, and concluded with a post-test. The results indicated a 26.78% increase in participants’ OHS knowledge after the session. Furthermore, participants displayed enthusiasm during the PPE simulation, which is expected to encourage safer workplace behavior. By improving their understanding of occupational risks and the importance of OHS, traditional boat craftsmen are anticipated to reduce workplace accidents and enhance productivity in the future.
2025-06-22T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Hery Indria Dwi Puspita, Gandu Eko Julianto Suyoso, Rudianto, Lyya Supriono, Andi Sanata, Bakhtiyar Hadi Prakoso, Veronika Vestine, Ervina Rachmawatihttps://journal.artika.id/abdimas/article/view/131Pendampingan Generasi Z dan Generasi Alpha Dalam Beretika di Media Sosial dan Pengamanan Akun Pribadi di Desa Bulusari Kedungwaru Tulungagung2024-11-19T12:20:06+00:00Mei Santimeisanti.msy@gmail.comSiti Sholekahsitisholekah058@gmail.comSiti Nur Hidayatul Hasanahmeisanti.msy@gmail.comM. This service activity was carried out using dilators based on the results of initial observations, which illustrated that Papuan students still lacked an understanding of clean and healthy living behaviors in boys' and girls' dormitories. This service is carried out using the INPO (Input, Process, Output) implementation method. Implementing service using this method applies a pre-test to students regarding basic knowledge on how to get used to a healthy life. Then, peel and clean. Therefore, counseling and application in the field of the material that has been provided is part of the second method of this service. Post-questionnaires were then administered to determine students' final understanding and awareness. Based on the results of data exposure using input, process, and output methods, there was an increase in knowledge of healthy living behavior and awareness of carrying out PHBS activities in daily life, with a percentage level of 98.3%. This means that Community Service activities aimed at student dormitories are running well and have a success rate.
2025-06-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Abd. This community service program aims to utilize a biodigester system to convert CRC waste into renewable energy and organic fertilizer. The program was carried out using a participatory approach, incorporating Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) curriculum framework. Activities included benchmarking, the construction and installation of a fixed dome-type biodigester with a capacity of 7.5 m³, processing of biogas sludge into compost, system operation training, household entrepreneurship development, and program monitoring and evaluation. The installed biodigester successfully produced approximately 1.875 m³ of biogas per day, which was used for lighting and cooking fuel by surrounding households. Additionally, about 150 kg of sludge was processed daily into high-quality compost. This program produced significant ecological benefits by reducing pollution and greenhouse gas emissions, while also generating economic value through energy savings and increased household income. All targeted program outcomes were achieved, demonstrating the effectiveness of this model in promoting environmental sustainability, energy resilience, and community empowerment. Thus, this integrated biodigester system holds great potential for national replication as a sustainable solution for livestock waste management in Indonesia.
2025-06-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Zeni Ulma, Risse Entikaria Rachmanita, Michael Joko Wibowo, Nur Faizin, Yuli Hanantohttps://journal.artika.id/abdimas/article/view/147Edukasi dan Simulasi Gempa Bumi Bagi Siswa SD Negeri 1 Lateri, Ambon2025-07-08T09:30:36+00:00Tri Octaviani Sihombingtri.sihombing@lecturer.unpatti.ac.idWarniyati Warniyatiwarniyaties@gmail.comMansye Ronal Ayalandremonta82@gmail.comMonica R. It is essential to instill an understanding of earthquake hazards and disaster risk reduction from an early age, especially among elementary school students who are considered a vulnerable group. This community engagement activity was conducted at SD Negeri 1 Lateri, Ambon, a school located in an area affected by a 6.5-magnitude earthquake in 2019 that damaged 2,675 houses. The main objective was to enhance students’ knowledge and preparedness for earthquakes through a child-friendly educational approach. The methods included interactive lectures, group discussions, and structured pre- and pos-tests using questionnaires. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ understanding of earthquake causes, with 100% of the participants correctly identifying tectonic plate movement as the main factor after the educational session, compared to no prior understanding. There was also a notable positive shift in emotional response, with the number of students who reported feeling calm and prepared during an earthquake increasing from 4% to 40%. Awareness of appropriate actions during an earthquake also rose, with all students (100%) choosing to remain calm and wait for assistance, up from 67% before the session. However, misconceptions were still found in the evacuation procedure, as 35% of students indicated they would use escalators or elevators to exit during an earthquake. These findings suggest that lecture-based education is effective in improving initial awareness but insufficient for achieving full preparedness. Therefore, it is recommended that such educational efforts be supplemented with regular evacuation drills to ensure students not only understand but are also able to implement appropriate self-rescue measures during an actual earthquake.
2025-06-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Tri Octaviani Sihombing, Warniyati, Mansye Ronal Ayal, Monica R.
