Program Peningkatan Literasi Digital dan Keamanan Siber di SMA N 3 Denpasar

The main objective of this community service was to enhance student’s understanding of cybersecurity and digital literacy in response to the growing threat of cybercrime among teenagers. The urgency of this program arises from the increasing cases of online fraud, social media hacking, and low awareness of data protection among youth, revealing a gap between high digital engagement and limited cyber risk awareness. The implementation method consisted of several stages: team formation, problem identification, development of educational modules, pre-test and post-test sessions, and interactive material delivery on cybersecurity and digital literacy. The pre-test results averaged 85.29, while the post-test improved significantly to 97.36, demonstrating a substantial increase in students’ understanding. Active discussions between speakers and students also showed growing enthusiasm and awareness regarding safe and responsible digital behavior. The program concludes that a contextual and participatory educational approach effectively improves digital awareness and resilience among teenagers. Beyond producing an educational module and forming digital literacy cadres at school, this PKM activity also strengthens collaboration between universities and secondary education institutions in promoting a culture of cybersecurity awareness.
