Peningkatan Potensi Wisata Desa Arjasa Melalui Digitalisasi Media Promosi Hyang Argopuro Festival IX 2025

Arjasa Village in Jember Regency is a traditional tourism village with strong cultural and spiritual potential, reflected in its megalithic sites, preserved local traditions, and the annual Hyang Argopuro festival. However, this potential has not been optimally utilized due to limited digital promotion and low community capacity in managing information media, resulting in low visibility at national and international levels. This community service program, funded by the 2025 internal grant (PNBP) of Politeknik Negeri Jember, aims to enhance tourism exposure through the digitalization of promotional media and digital literacy improvement. The program was implemented in three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation, using a participatory and collaborative approach involving local communities and stakeholders. The outcomes include the development of an official village website as an integrated information hub, the establishment and optimization of social media accounts (YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram), and the production of initial digital content highlighting the village’s cultural and spiritual identity. Qualitative observations indicate increased community enthusiasm and improved digital literacy, particularly among youth actively involved in content creation. Positive audience responses suggest a significant improvement in visibility and destination branding. It is concluded that integrating digital technology with community empowerment is an effective and sustainable strategy for promoting culture-based tourism. This program highlights the importance of policy support, independent media teams, and ongoing collaboration with academic institutions to ensure sustainability and scalability.
