Abstract

UD. Dulur Lanang is a dairy farm located in Krajan Tengah Hamlet, Curahlele Village, owned by Mr. Mudzawkir Abduki, which was established in 2005 and has 30 dairy cows. The problems faced by partners include the handling of cow dung waste, which is currently still not optimal. In this community service activity, a team from the Jember State Polytechnic provided training in making portable biodigesters to the owners and employees of UD. Dulur Lanang. The portable biodigester is made from used drums with a capacity of 110 L, equipped with inlet and outlet pipes. The composition of the biodigester filling material consists of cow dung and water with a ratio of 1:1 which is put into the biodigester with a volume of 75% of the total volume. This activity provides ecological benefits by reducing cow dung waste, which is one of the sources of greenhouse gas emissions. In addition, with the training in making portable biodigesters, it is hoped that UD. Dulur Lanang can improve its economy by converting waste into energy.
