Penguatan Kompetensi Desain Grafis Percetakan Bagi Siswa SMK Al Fajri dan Nurul Azmi Kabupaten Lombok Tengah

Vocational school graduates are equipped with technical skills that can directly enter to work world. Number of vocational school graduates is increasing, but the unemployment rate for vocational school graduates is the highest in August 2024 compared to graduates from other educational groups. Those conditions occur due to the gap between the vocational school curriculum and the needs of work world. Curriculum for the graphic design printing competency area of expertise has been well-structured, but learning in schools has not provided practical skills to enter the work world directly. Competencies strengthening of graphic design printing for vocational school students are important to increase the work skills capacity that is readyWritten in English with a distance between sentences of 1 space and the number of words between 150-250. The abstract should contain introductions, methods, results and discussions and conclusions (without citation). Avoid using citations in the abstract. Graphic design printing competency strengthening program was held for students of Al Fajri and Nurul Azmi vocational schools. Activity stages starting from identification, planning and coordination, implementation and evaluation are applied to provide work competency provisions for students of the two vocational schools. According to evaluation results based on components value 94.3% of students participating in the competency strengthening activities were able to create graphic printing designs independently based to orders and able to communicate it. They also have the basic soft skills needed to enter world work. The number shows that efforts to improve the competency of students at Al Fajri and Nurul Azmi Vocational Schools in implementing Community Service activities program were successful on target.
