Pelatihan dan Pedampingan Pembuatan Moodboard Desain Grafis untuk Siswa SMK Pilar Bangsa Kabupaten Lombok Tengah

Not all vocational high school graduates in West Nusa Tenggara are immediately absorbed into the workforce due to inadequate preparation, both in technical competency and soft skills. Graphic design curriculum is well-structured, but school instruction does not yet provide all the practical skills necessary for immediate employment. Vocational high school graduates ability to create mood boards in graphic design is still not widely mastered by graduates and students, including SMK Pilar Bangsa and several other schools. To improve the competency of vocational high school graduates, training and mentoring are being provided on creating graphic design moodboard to complement students' graphic design competency development. A graphic design moodboard creation mentoring program was conducted for students of SMK Pilar Bangsa. Program method consists of identification, mentoring planning, coordination with stakeholders, mentoring implementation, and evaluation; designed to equip students with work competencies. According to evaluation results based on the competency test component, average 91% of students who participated in the mentoring program were able to independently create graphic design moodboard based on orders and communicate them. The evaluation results indicate that the efforts to improve the competency of SMK Pilar Bangsa students in implementing the Community Service program were successful and met target.
