Pelatihan Pembuatan Pupuk Organik Cair Kotoran Sapi (PUKOPI) dan Manajemen Pembukuan di Blok Simacan Dusun Merak Taman Nasional Baluran

The Simacan Block of Merak Hamlet, located in Baluran National Park is the easternmost area with a large cattle population. In addition to facing limited access to energy, the community work as livestock farmers have challenges in optimizing cattle manure waste. This activity aims to enhance the community's economic and ecological independence through training in the production of Liquid Organic Fertilizer from cattle manure (PUKOPI) based on biodigester waste, as well as financial report bookkeeping management. The implementation method includes coordination, technical training for PUKOPI production, laboratory testing of fertilizer content, training in financial management and simple bookkeeping, mentoring, and monitoring and evaluation. The results of the activity show a significant increase in the community's skills in processing waste into high-value products. Based on laboratory tests, the generated PUKOPI product is proven to be safe and meets quality standards, with a Cadmium (Cd) content of 0.05 mg/kg, Zinc (Zn) of 2.979 mg/kg, Iron (Fe) of 0.0038271%, Manganese (Mn) of 0.0000891%, while heavy metals Copper (Cu) and Nickel (Ni) were not detected. The Lead (Pb) content was 24.193 mg/kg, which is still within the tolerance limit. From a management perspective, the bookkeeping training successfully increased the community's capacity to prepare transparent and accountable financial reports for the sustainability of ice cube and PUKOPI sales.The initiation of the ASOBIH Sustainable Independent Energy Region is a supporting effort to achieve Net Zero Emissions by 2060 and aligns with the implementation of global commitment targets in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 7: Affordable and Clean Energy, Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, and Goal 13: Climate Action.
