Implementasi Teknologi Pengolahan Kopi Untuk Meningkatkan Kemandirian dan Kesejahteraan Kelompok Tani Hutan

Forest Farmer Group Sejahtera has been engaged in coffee sector since 2013, producing approximately 60-70 ton per year and managing around 30 hectares of land planted with 15% Arabica coffee and 85% Robusta coffee. The main challenges in the coffee processing stage from harvested cherries to ready to serve coffee products beans, which affect the final quality of the coffee. The goal of this service project is to provide a coffee bean huller and a moisture content device. The stages of implementation include: (1) survey and site coordination to collect primary and secondary data together with technical partners, (2) preparation of equipment and materials such as the coffee bean huller and moisture meter, (3) training and implementation through introduction and demonstration of the coffee huller and moisture meter under actual load, and (4) evaluation and monitoring of the program’s success. The results show that the implementation of the coffee bean huller technology increases efficiency and productivity, with a processing capacity of 200 kg per hour, producing clean coffee beans with an optimal moisture content of 10%–12%
